    1/4" (6mm) EVA-based mass loaded vinyl membrane with polyester scrim — engineered to deliver combined STC and IIC performance under wood, tile, stone, carpet, and vinyl. The most cost-effective way to meet building code STC/IIC 50 on a wide range of wood-frame and concrete floor-ceiling assemblies. Approved for all UL L500 Series. Made from post-industrial recycled automotive materials. Non-PVC, no off-gassing, mold & mildew resistant per ASTM D3273.

    Installation Notes

    • Install rate: ~2,000 sf per man-day
    • Staple or screw to wood subfloor — also approved for floating floors
    • EVA (black) side UP for hardwood, engineered wood, carpet tile, LVT, VCT, laminate
    • EVA (black) side DOWN for ceramic tile and floating floors
    • Use polymer-fortified grout under tile finishes
    • Adhere to subfloor with premium polyurethane-based vinyl tile adhesive (no water-based latex)
    • Tape seams with approved impermeable tape — no overlapping, no openings > 1/16"
